![]() Forward the TS ports on your router and you're all done (assuming you have a static IP from your ISP or you've set up dynamic DNS).Īlso, thanks for the invite, but I'm not generally a TS user (I just set up servers of all kinds for others). Finally, connect and test TS locally using the client (you'll need that token you saved in step 4).If you want to set up server query, use the instructions in comment #106 by HolyK.Skip step 10, the install sets up the default TS3 ports, if you want to change them the instructions are towards the end of the post in comment #106 by HolyK. ![]() Do step 9 but you can eliminate the 'top' code just stop and start TS.Navigate to the logs and get the token and save it somewhere to use later. When you get to step 4, the logs being referred to are located in /var/log/teamspeak and will have similar names (different dates in the names).Inside your jail, do steps 1-3 from the original instructions.OGP writes Panel IP to TS3 whitelist file to able to query, if it is missing Panel can not do that. If can not then you have no Control Password or IP address. OGP calculates last two from server port automaticly. You can use also the default server/voice port (9987) and start up, 10011 will be query port and 30033 file transfer port then. If you can tell me what was your version of the Panel before update and explain how did you setup your TS3 server maybe I am able to find where did you fall down.Īnyway If you create your first TS3 server, check does it has control password in the Game Monitor -> Your Voice Server -> Edit. I'd check by myself to show it, but I am on vacation. Probably it is easy to find and fix via Teamviewer. I'm sure, sonething is misconfigurated or missing from TS3 or OGP. Home server has orange icon, dedicated server has same. I gave up playing with that, deleted TS3 and reinstalled it, however this time i had no virtual widget and TS will not run showing query error again and this is from the log I also noticed i could not control the virtual server from the panel until i stopped the master server then i noticed whichever server you made changes to affected both but that was because it was really one server i guess. I then created a "Virtual" server with Port 9987 all via the panel using the widget in the bottom right corner and thats when i got query issues however i could join both TS's and they seemed to run ok apart from they were both showing the query error and both servers had amber icons rather than green.Īfter a lot of head scratching i found both master and virtual were using the same game file path and both outputs from the log file were printing to the same file for two servers, it was as if one server was running two instances of TS and i also noticed the virtual server widget had disappeared from the panel. No firewall is on, all ports are open at the moment.įirstly, i created a "Master" TS3 from Rsync, server port 10011, entered my NPL and all seemed fine. Panel and Agent both installed with no errors or issues. I know TS3 has been mentioned before but i have a different problem and hope some one can help me fix it.Ĭlean install of Ubuntu 16.04 minimal (2 days ago)Ĭlean install of OGP Agent and Panel from easy installer guide, Ubuntu versions.
